One of the most winsome and favorite figures in kites all over Japan. Here he is pictured with the Rabbit.The picture is without the bamboo'bones' and cannot fly. Made of strong, acid-free washi paper it is designed to be durable and fly well.
The picture was made by using woodblock printing for the outline and then handbrushing was used to apply the strong colors. Very rare, Original picture of traditional Edo kite printmaking in Near Mint (NM) condition.
